Frequently Asked Questions
-
Who can be in Rainbow? Girls between the
ages of 11 and 20 may become members when invited as a friend of a
Rainbow Girl. Daughters, grand daughters, nieces of Masons,
Eastern Stars, and Amaranth members are also welcome.
-
What is the Rainbow dress code like? Members
must wear professional clothing to regular meetings. This means
conservative skirts and dresses or dress slacks. Special meetings
like initiations and installations require a formal dress.
-
Does being a Rainbow Girl cost a lot of money?
Money should never prevent a girl from being involved in any assembly
activities. Girls have opportunity to earn credits toward state
level events that require registration fees.
-
How do I apply for a scholarship? Contact
a member of the advisory board or Mother Advisor of the Assembly for an
application.
-
Does being an active member take a lot of time?
Wishing Well Assembly has two scheduled meetings per month. There
are also activities between meetings. Time management is a skill a
Rainbow Girls learns to develop. No matter where a girl
finds herself, she is always a Rainbow Girl. It is our hope that
each member will embrace the ideals of the Order and be a good
reflection of them during every waking minute of her day.
